Realistically they sold the mask elsewhere, it's a common tactic of Titan Mata Nui sellers to try and double the pull, list the maskless titan for a solid 100-near 200ish, and then sell the mask elsewhere for a nice 200-300 even though that's the only reason said set goes for the 100's in the first place, someone'll eventually buy both and they'll have come out with double the dosh of selling them from the scalpniggering
Even those who don't do the retarded 'miscellaneous grab bag that's guaranteed to not have a single complete set unless you buy 2' do it 9.5/10 times

I found the pearl gold one, didn't think it was actually it, then found the flat gold and realized that I had both. I was rebuilding Iruini because I always wanted him when I was younger, the pieces were basically all there, there's so many good pieces and sets in this box lol. Also a lot of potential customs that the previous owner seemed to have made.

Yeah, you're a lot safer with local/person to person sales like with Kijiji/other (usually) personal pickup based selling sites, the issue mostly lies with online ones based around distance shipping like Ebay/Amazon/etc

People either one, are typically less aware of prices when they're choosing to sell them in a personal manner, don't care as much, or two don't feel as comfortable trying to scalp when they're going to be face to face with the buyer

Same set. Lego changed the color gold they used while the set was in production, so earlier produced sets had a different version than later. One was much rarer than the other because they changed color either really early on or really late on in the set's lifespan (don't remember which). The lighter pearl gold is much more rare than the darker gold.

Yep, the issue is practically no one is selling them nowadays, so at most you'll see 1-3 in total pop up per like, half year, and because of that (and that they're consistently in the stock of known scalpers) the sellers can pretty much price them at whatever they want and eventually somebody'll buy them for the 'clout' because of how hyped misprints get in this community even when there's a known 1000+ minimum of them in circulation

One case example is the shitstorm that is happening as of now on the subreddit which is literally breaking apart because the mods got banned by the dormant head mod after years of unquestioned rule of the banned mods. There is more to that story apparently, but the entire place is literally declaring war and being cringe in general. By the full blown negative response, you can guess what ideologies both parties of the conflict have.

Also I finally started on the green one. She'll be element plantlife. Canon says secondary colour is blue, but I see why other people say it should be brown. However I'd go further and say the secondary could be anything or even numerous colours, as in a flower with blossoms. For now I'm going with bright pink as the secondary.
Also the teal one is getting a restart, flat silver slowly replacing the black. But I might need to rebuild the torso entirely.

Like, they didn't even stylize this shit at all, it's a straight 1-1 part copy design wise
Even the bonk comics had more stylization to them despite operating on similar drawing principles

Makes me wonder if they actually bought the set and posed it for these pics with how much of it is a recognizable copy

the thing with motorizing action figures is that:
1) motors are too large to really fit most bonks unless they are ludicrously large
2) it would have to be remote controled cause anything that you could motorise would usually work better with hands turning gears
3) walking mechanisms are a bitch to work with so they have to have wheels/treads

mind you this is coming from a dude who would love to add motors to a bonk so if anyone here has done this successfully I would love to be proven wrong

This actually gives me an idea related to the motorized bonkle discussion. What if you had some kind of carriage or chariot which houses the battery compartment and motor, with a rahi attached to the front? Then you'd put a gear system in the rahi so that its legs move when it's pushed, to give the illusion that it's pulling the cart

It's an ant rahi. The abdomen-carriage holds stuff, but in order to climb it swivels sideways to crawl, and also the head opens up to reveal a drill.

Also these are old pictures, and the creator doesn't seem to have posted much in the way of MOCs.
