My guess on why you’re having so much trouble is the color changing paint also obstructs sunlight. So along with the injection chemical probably being strontium aluminate, you probably have to stick this thing outside in direct unobstructed sunlight for at least an hour or two to charge it.
And if you do that in the box, it will damage the box.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve had GITD figures all your life because I’m explaining verifiable facts to you. Do what you want with them. I’m not going to argue about things that are proven.
