QRD on Schleich toys?

No.9891946 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The name sounds vaguely Jewish but the toys look incredibly solid. I've gotten them recommended to me a few times on Amazon and they aren't typically expensive; most seem to range between $11 to $20.

They remind me of the quality mass produced toys you'd see in the 80s. The rock golem with the translucent green gems on him gives me Inhumanoids vibes. The dragons and animalistic figures remind me of Imperial toys from Hong Kong.

These look like modern classics and if I had a kid I would probably buy some of these for them; these seem like the kind of toys that would be a core memory for a kid.

So how are they in real life? Anyone here collect them? Is the quality as good as Amazon makes them look? Do they have good articulation or play features, or are they just a hunk of plastic?
