It would cost them a hell of a lot more to tool anyway, and god knows we don't need to give them another reason to reduce the number of new figures per wave. Moltres may already be the only Wave 3 figure.
>>9895924 I'm sure Suicune and the rest will be articulated well enough, just much smaller than they should be. I'm worried about them. They are more lengthy than any other figure in that line so far (except Ray but it can coil up) and a cube shaped box is really the worst possible shape to get them to fit into. I'm afraid they'll be only slightly larger than Arcanine

So some Target toy manager who doesn't know what they're doing can easily order multiple cases and have it all be the same figure. It's stupid. All my stores have walls of either Greninja, Articuno, or Rayquaza but never a mix of more than one of those. This is why I always prefer toy companies ship in mixed assortments. They easily could and should have done 2xCharizard, 1xArticuno, 1xGreninja before Ray came out, and then replaced the duplicate Charizard with Rayquaza in later shipments.

>>9901025 Possibly. But those stamps don't really mean much. Bootlegs could still be made using the original molds. You can just tell by the incorrect paint style compared to the real figures usually. Several of those figures are 100% bootlegs tho, and if some are, more than likely all/most are too. I mean, your Shuckle has an extra leg, Teddiursa is obviously not the correct sculpt, same with Medicham, Marowak, Heracross etc. Many of those have wildly inaccurate sculpts, and some look like they could be real Tomy figure molds, but just bootlegged since the paint is incorrect.

Never keep toys sealed in plastic bags, plastic bins/tubs or other containers for too long, I don't even seal bags anymore, the lack of air circulation really can damage the plastic on your toys over time. Heat and humidity can be a big problem too. Rule of thumb is keep things cool, dry, open and out of harsh light and you shouldn't have problems.

Anonymous
>>9913837 Yeah, but the fully have the capability of making things in scale. Electabuzz and Magmar could have been in the 4" line. Duskull should have been a 3" figure, Geodude should be smaller. They just don't even try :(
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>9913868 They could have, but I personally prefer the 3" figures to the 4" ones. Sure the size is upped a bit, but having the articulation makes them a lot more fun I think. was excited for 25th anniversary zapdos, i don't buy many pokemon toys but wanted a giant figure of the GOAT for a while. unfortunately he's mostly a rubber slab with well-articulated fingers, no detailed paint except eyes that will inevitably rub off and a stand that's admittedly cool
Anonymous
>>9919780 What did you expect? The entire body is done in the correct colors so what other paint would you want? And what else would you want articulated?
Anonymous
>>9919808 being able to move its wings in front of it would've been nice, and the colors themselves are fine but the giant swaths of bare yellow plastic look cheap, cartoony (in a bad way), and my copy had a bunch of a mold release agent/grease and scratches on the wings that caught the light. a matte paintjob over the bare plastic like masterpiece transformers get would've been nice
Anonymous
>>9921283 bruh. No toy company making $20 figures is going to paint over the same colored plastic to get a matte finish. Yes, maybe in a $100+ import/speciality line like Masterpiece as you mentioned, but not in a mass retail line. Zapdos only moves its wings up and down from the torso just like the articulation allows. It has never really rotated and moved them forward (like Articuno's or Moltres' wings for instance). Not trying to knock all your points but I'm genuinely confused what you expected. You say it looks too cartoony but they are literally making figures based off their cartoon appearances.
Anonymous
>>9921345 for most of the pokemon i get not being able to slather the thing in paint but again, zapdos is kind of just two big flat pieces with a small body. he looks cheap the way he is imo. and paint's not a $75 difference like you're implying

Quoted By:
>>9921365 I didn't say painting all the yellow plastic with yellow paint would cost $75 to do, I meant that you are expecting waaaaaayyyyyy too much from a $20 mass retail figure. Odd how Jazwares hasn't done a Metagross or Gardevoir yet they seem to be hitting all the generically popular mons. Ralts should've gotten a small figure by now at least.
Anonymous
>>9923535 I figured Metagross was at least on their radar since WCT did Metang which still seems like such a strange choice. I'm sure Metagross would have been an Epic figure. Seems less likely now that we'll get one from Jaz since they only do one Epic per year when WCT did three one year and two another year.
Ralts got a Bandai Full Color Advance series figure or whatever those little ones were called. It's hard to find but it's pretty much 1/12 scale.

>>9923770 Wasn't Metang done because he was featured in the anime at the time? That was in the Dedenne era I think; feels like so long ago. Either way I love that they did, because I love the Metagross line. Metagross could probably also fit into Select.
