>>9917878>i just dont get dolls, like what do you do? is it all just dress up stuffI prefer dolls to action figures because of the wider varieties of textures and tactile sensations provided by the combination of rooted hair, hard plastic, soft vinyl, and differing fabrics.
They are way more customizable because you can style the hair and change the clothes, and I generally prefer feminine aesthetics over masculine ones when it comes to character design, Women just have way more options for clothing and hair.
Fashion dolls used to be less posable, but nowadays with monster high setting 11 POA as the standard, more and more dolls are catching up to action figures especially the made to move Barbie body with its impressive 22 POA including double jointed knees and elbows.
Pic related is the newest doll in my collection; lol OMG Skatepark QT.
She’s got a functional belt, a real metal chain on her pants, and the wheels on her skateboard roll. She’s also significantly less glam and girly than your typical fashion doll with light makeup and an edgier punk fashion style, I wanted her for my collection because tomboy dolls are not common.
