>>9937734I agree. The base is cool but not worth the upcharge. My biggest gripe is the slash effects just don't fit on his claws very naturally. If you take your time you can get them on, but they will fall off very easily.
I was disapointed when I first started messing with him. But as I posed him more and took some pics for the thread he grew on me. He is your typical Mezco with articulation. His head sculpts are all very well done, and I love how the bone claws actually look like bone, and are gnarly.
Wolverine is one of those heroes you want to get in a low crouching feral looking position, and I just can't get him as low as other figures from different companies. I am in the minority where I love cloth goods, but on a hero like Wolverine it just doesn't work with his posing. Also the base is a neat idea, but they should have included a foot mold somewhere so it look more natural. It helps if you have an extra Mezco peg base to anchor him better. However again his articulation makes it difficult to get him looking natural on the base since it is so lumpy with no footing anywhere.
He will have good shelf presence but unless you don't mind the stretching of his spandex, he won't be very dynamic outside of jumping poses.
