>>9932388Drift's articulation is as fantastic as it is infuriating.
His lower half is ball jointed hips, thigh swivels, and knee hinges.
Bog standard. No ankle. No waist.
And that's such a bummer. a waist could have really elevated this toy.
Moving up, the short sword sheathes are on ball joints on a stalk on a hinge. So they have a lot of range and ability to get out of the way.
The big sword's clip can pull away from the body a bit if you're worried about it banging into his legs too much. I wish it rotated so Drift could wear is sword at a bit of an angle.
Neck swivels and Drift's head has a good deal of range looking up and down.
But the arms really steal the show.
Starting off the transformation joints handle up and down movement of the shoulder. While a ball joint does rotation, and is cut in such a way to allow a good range of butterfly movement as well.
The arms have a another transformation joint to let the arm pivot independently of the armor.
Biceps swivel and elbows are double jointed. Wrists are ball jointed which is always good but also cut in a way that let them fold inwards 90 degrees.
