Some mafex go up in value relatively fast. Superman, gambit, first spiderman. I think black suit spiderman will go up in value as well. I got one just to sell together with classic spidey. If it goes bad I'm sure i can at least get back what I invested.

if your interested exclusively in money invest in real shit or if you must stick with toys/collectibiles/manchild stuff the best bet is to set up bots and rape websites for stuff that has extremely limited availability that you can IMMEDIATELY resell for 3x its value.

buying stuff to store for years is extremely low IQ and not worth it. Your money(and space) is tied up in something that you may not even care about and the difference after taking into account selling fees, shipping, getting fucked over by by scammers you will barely make anything.

Its all about generational stuff. Kids will remember fortnite like star wars.

That being said you're better off investing in vidya if you can keep it climate controled.

Anything related to fortnite, amogus, minecraft will do well.

I'd also invest in 3P as well, because i think hasblow is going to start shutting them down in the future (maybe 10-20 years). I really don't see a huge bootlegging industry to last even if produced in small quantities.

(Inb4 border patrol agents need to know what sideswipe looks like to catch 3p from entering the country.)

This. And to add to that, odds are there will be a better toy in the future making the older one obsolete. Maybe more obscure stuff can hold value, but only so much. In the time it would take for the toy to gain absurd value, you could have a job or sell other stuff and make 10x the amount in comparison.

I have retarded amounts of money wrapped up in classic computers, consoles, games, comic books, Magic cards, and Transformers, and none of it is considered an "investment" to me until I don't have an interest in a particular item anymore and it goes out the door. All the real money is in places that don't eat up my own real estate.

I agree with this. Trends, values, shifting generations are all very fluid. Even very early Disney stuff isn't reliable. There are whole segments of toy collecting that went from insanely valuable to totally worthless in the 30 years.

Do you think they would keep well? Is the (I assume) PVC the same grade (hardness, etc) as other PVC toys? Would the packaging glue fail earlier? The only FF thing I got to store was a few of the comic books.
