3D printing anything in large sizes gets very expensive, too, especially if 3D printing is your business. For something that size it would take probably about a week to print out and multiple rolls of filament, as well as the time and effort it takes to model in 3D. I think it'd be great if the STL files were put up for sale but at the same time, I understand why some makers prefer to keep them private and sell the prints themselves.
