I guess you're right when it comes to imports, although they will sometimes make comic figures but only the heavy hitters. I really doubt we'd ever see a MAFEX Silver Sable or something like that.

I had to expand my tastes into superheros, predators, xenomorphs and random shit just because what I actually want gets nothing, overpriced statues/1/6 or the shittist figures possible.
