they can substitute it with their co-moulded parts/advanced ms joints but they need to make the RG in a bigger size to make it stable and doable.
as for MG G-Self, the core fighter is located in a place where it would introduce structural problems. including the core fighter railing-docking system the G-Self shown on TV, it would introduce bigger engineering problems than MG V and V2
