Bullshit, my oven stopped working after my cousin used it, I never forgave him for it. I loved those fucking bugs. Could abuse them too, since you could just make more.

Meanwhile I wasn't impressed by Easy bakes, it took forever to make something that tasted like shit and then you had nothing to show for it.

Exactly. You could do all kinds of fun stuff with creepy crawlers, and my favorite thing do do with them was stick them on glass. They had surprisingly good suction, and the process of making them was a great opportunity to express your creativity.

No, in general Kinder toys fell from grace a long time ago. There was one time when it Kinder started making great toys again with the 2022 Nattons, but then it went to shit again. Overall, it seems that usualy Kinder Joy has the better toys, but again nowhere near as great as the original and still usualy sucks.

Australia had a version of Kinder called Yowies that had 5-6 piece animal figures in them. The quality was surprisingly good and they rebooted a decade later with single piece but very well painted little animal figures that resemble smaller Schleich toys.

I think the appeal is that it’s a smaller appliance and was less likely to result in an accident instead of a normal stove/oven. Kids under 10 being taught how to use a gas or electric stove seems like a good way to teach them cooking, but there’s a chance they may try to do it unsupervised and causing a gas leak or fire. Plus easy-bake cleanup is simpler and easier. Every kid responsible enough to use a stove should learn to cook, to be honest, and learning with the parent is great bonding time for both, but small kids aren’t usually big or smart enough to trust with regular appliances. To me the easy bake is a good introduction to early baking experiences, but once the kid is old enough the patent(s) should graduate them to the real-deal.

This is a lie. Easy bake treats are always processed trash that taste like sugar with a sugar flavoring added.

My and my brother played with Creepy Crawlers constantly. I believe towards the middle or the end the where even making like monsters or things you could combine after solidifying. Shit was great.
