It's kind of like that. What is the appeal of anything? Why do you buy toys at all?
Because I buy toys that I think look cool. Things with some creativity, or imagination, or that are just plain fun or silly or badass or anything. I have detailed dinosaur toys that cost $10. I have I have cheap looking sofubi toys that cost $1000. I buy what appeals to me. Lots of people will only buy branded stuff. "Oh I only buy Lego, mega bloks is trash!" "I only buy marvel superheroes" I mean okay, fine, you do what you want, but I think at this point a lot of people don't like toys so much as they just like little reminders of franchises they like. I like toys for toys sake and I don't care where they come from. I'm not going to thumb my nose up at some stuff just because some chink made them during his 12 minute rice break instead of during his 20 hour shift.
