On a sidenote, you know 6-10% of the US population are by definition sociopaths? They blend in pretty well because they mistake their extreme social anxiety and desire to be loved, themselves, *as* empathy, but there's telltale signs! Most are pretty harmless and too terminally online to do anything dangerous, and know that they'd probably be caught for any criminal behavior. It's easily treated with therapy though.
