That inequality can lead to subjugated individuals. Can you really kill the selfishness in people? It's an emotion that has withstood evolution to be with us, so it must promote some evolutionary advantage.

Maybe it will change in time, but currently, I could not kill an evil man to free an innocent slave. The "innocent slave" may be eviler than the evil man, meaning I only served to worsen my own world by doing what I thought was good.
