When you start a thread about something that directly involves yourself, it's in your interest to make yourself recognizable, whether you're fishing for (you)s or legitimately asking for advice or opinions from others. I'm not saying you have to use a name or a tripcode, but just saying something like "OP here" before replying is to be expected in situations like this.
