I'm lucky to be at the job I am at. I do contract labor with the federal government manufacturing munitions. The chances we will face lays offs are low, but, people are talking about it on the floor. The company swears up and down they wont lay off the grunts, but, I know better. I don't trust them.
I feel bad for the other people out there who don't have as good of a job as me. They also stopped hiring and are slowing production to cope with the impact of the recession. Good luck out there fellow travelers!
