The first bad choice was hiding NSFW on the front page unless you were logged in, which robbed the more risque sites of a lot of well-deserved notoriety and overall had the effect of sanitizing the place. I used to visit Vote for the Worst too back in the 00s which was that site where people tried to rig American Idol to keep the worst contestants alive. It made the show surprisingly enjoyable for me. Also the photoshop threads on the forums were pretty great.

I always hated Cyanide and Happiness though for reasons that are hard to explain. Did webcomics just stop being popular altogether?
