I just renewed my pass with BTC for the first time. It was actually a lot easier than I expected. Here's how I did it:
First I downloaded Exodus:
https://www.exodus.io/This program lets you create a bitcoin wallet very easily. Then it gives you a QR code for it, which you can print out and use as effectively a bitcoin debit card.
Next, do some research to see if there are any bitcoin ATMs around. I didn't expect there to be any around me, but there were actually quite a few. The cool thing is that most of these things accept cash, you just put your QR code up to the scanner, then insert the cash, and there you go, it's in your wallet. Then just follow the steps at
4chan.org/pass to transfer the BTC using Exodus. Took me about an hour in total.
