So what are the perks of having 4chan pass aside from not having to do captchas?

My experience seems to be negative, being banned 2x now within a month compared to never before buying the pass. It seems the mods keep tabs on me more now that I have it. Or maybe because I just post more?

Yes and no. Logging in with your janitor account (which is technically the same thing as a moderator, but nerfed) also gives you a cookie that allows you to post without captcha and rangeban restrictions like a pass user, but as far as I deducted comes without additional features such as voting (for banners or the vtuber contest) or posting from p.4chan.org.

If your mobile carrier or ip range is subject to a range ban then a pass gets around that. You can also since4pass to show the clover and your pass age if you can call that a benefit.

It's too late now but if that happens to you again, change the MAC address of your router's input port and reset your modem. You'll get a new IP (works on Comcast and TWC, probably lots of others as well)

I got it so I could post from a VPN. That's it. It pays for itself for that alone (even though 4chan could just allow VPNs instead. 8ch didn't need a paywall nor recaptcha to control spam...)

It's something that Hiro made which remotely resembles a progressive web application (PWA), because it's unlikely an official 4chan app will ever get on the standard app stores. It has been in an unfinished state for years (no tripcodes, no flags, no clovers) and only pass users can actually post through it.
