Dichotomous Threads:

I keep seeing them. Two nearly identical threads, created at nearly the same time, with the same number of replies. They always show up next to each other on the catalog. These threads always have the same topic or subject, but different attitudes or methods. This is a calibration phase, to identify what engagement methods work best on what boards. Within months of these experimental posts, full time influence and control operations begin. Ive seen it on /pol/ first, then /v/ /tv/ /g/ /k/ and now /a/, where I've never suspected bot posting before.
