They do but I don't really care. All sites censor to a degree, and in some cases it's warranted. Reddit's nice if you want to discuss anything non-political or have questions about topics fitting that criteria, and that's most of what I use the site for.
For anything political there is no good place on the internet to have those discussions. You can try to be genuine on /pol/ but only idiots will engage with you. You can try to do the same on Reddit but eventually you'll push the buttons of some idiot mod (regardless of political spectrum) and get banned. Also people discuss so much of politics when it doesn't even affect them. Get more involved in your local politics rather than sensational national or international politics which are largely out of your scope of control.
