do they sell 50 passes a day? fuck no. more like 10-20. On a GOOD day. Let's say like 11 - that puts 4chan at 80k revenue from passes alone, and since you need to use crypto to buy ads, I think they barely make money from them. so let's double revenue and say its around 160k a year.
how are they going to hire a developer?
their thinking for creating an API was clearly to allow third parties to make apps for 4chan. but I guess independent developers have little incentive to make a mobile-friendly PWA for 4chan because there is no money in those skills compared to making an app
