I take advantage of the lower cooldown time to make threads seem more alive than they really are. I also reply to myself a lot if that doesn't work. (The latter of which is a technique I also use to make it seem like a lot of people are agreeing with me, or to try and get attention to my own, like sometimes I will even simulate an entire argument with myself and wait for someone else to take the bait)
