>>3668Not only a board, but an entire system of dick-measuring to see whose mommy allowed them to burrow her credit card first. History has shown us that a false sense of superiority will entrench itself very quickly in the minds of retarded Pass users, and 4chan itself will be divided into two castes.
I do not expect everything to be "free forever". In fact, I actively expected for 4chan to simply permanently die over 5 years ago. That would have been the kinder fate for this dysfunctional cesspit. But it insisted on living on, in a corrupted and rotten state.
First were the goddamn Passes themselves (to bypass a "temporary" captcha). An insulting slap to the face as they were, I could at least understand their rationale, and, more importantly, they were invisible and ultimately meaningless for the browsing experience of any other user. I even bought one myself after Google turned reCaptcha into some idiotic Big Data thing. But I did it purely as a service I purchase, as something I give 4chan to to avoid giving data to Google, not because I wanted to support the website.
But this... this and the "since4pass" clover... This is different. This is turning 4chan into SomethingAwful. This is giving paying users higher privileges and visibility than non-paying users. This is going against everything in the original spirit of 4chan and anonymous imageboards/textboards as a whole. You fucking halfwits cheering for it and feeling proud of your pass is sad, but not unexpected.
Just mark my words: In the future, 4chan will confiscate your Pass if you ever get banned. Later still, 4chan mods will crank up overmoderation to new heights and start dishing out bans freely and almost randomly whenever they get low on cash.
4chan has "died" several times over now, but nonetheless this is a significant milestone and a very bad omen. You'd be smart to treat it as that, and not as some wacky little scheme concocted by le silly jap-nip-moot bunny.
