>>38954The Switch is the NX, yes. It's a great gimmick. Basically, the "console" is an extremely powerful handheld device about on par with an Xbone (according to the leaks with the most evidence). It isn't just a handheld device though, it plays games portable but it has a dock that connects it to a TV via HDMI cables, and when that happens it overclocks itself so it can play games on a true console level (the dock has huge fans and such to help with overheating).
Basically, for one price you get a handheld console MUCH more powerful than a WiiU, but you also get the home console at the same time. That means when you buy Zelda WiiU you get it on home console AND portable, same goes for Pokemon (which has never had a main series game on console, but will when the Switch title comes out). Nintendo's main teams for console and handheld will BOTH focus on the Switch, so it'll get tons of first party games.
>>38924 shows the list of 3rd parties already making games for the system (plus some partners like Autodesk and Unity that don't make games but instead custom software, which is even more important than games honestly).
