Would you test it on a slow board to see if the thread position moves?

I think making it invisible was a good move.
Many people used it as a downvote, so when people used it as it was originally intended, there was confusion and butthurt

yep, unless you put noko in the field you would get booted back to the index whenever you posted or made a new thread.

and there wasn't even a catalog back then, so if you make a thread and forgot to put noko into the options field you probably wouldnt be able to find it, especially on fast boards like /b/ or /v/

You used to be able to combine options with a + at one point too which in practice mostly meant noko+sage. I imagine it still works with other combinations.

Did sage used to have more power to its use? I've always used it only thinking it just doesn't bump a thread, like if I mention something offtopic and don't feel it contributes to the thread. But thinking about it now, that's like six years of threads I could have accidentally been fucking.
