Even though moot cucked out at the end and said 4chan never was about free speech he knows in his heart that his website being an epicenter of clashing ideals with only minimal moderation to maintain legaility and to be able to form a discussion thats not just mashing random keys is the only reason it became as popular as it is today, most of the times he went on camera or was interviewed was over the whole "bastion of free speech" thing as well.
