An investigation, using classified and public information, is underway to determine whether it was US forces, Isis militant bombs or both that caused the civilian buildings to fall.
So basically, while hundreds of civilians have been confirmed to have been killed in the recent past (under obama) by the US, this single event under trump has seen the unconfirmed responsibility of the US in the deaths of some of the 200 killed in mosul.
