The problem I have with bitcoin as of now is that you can barely buy any goods with it. Everyone just hoards it for the value. But what value? The only value it has is the hopes that it'll become a legitimate currency in the future if cryptocurrency ever takes off. But as of now, I just see it as a meme currency.

Anyone care to enlighten me of how I'm wrong?

You cant back up your bitcoin wallet?

Thanks to this thread I remember I got on the litecoin meme a few years ago. I completely forgot about it but I did remember I had a wallet with Electrum-LTC. I downloaded it and I had the 12 word pass words they make you have written down. I was able to log in with those just fine. I imagine bitcoin wallets has a similar feature?
