Hello fellow vippers,
It's come to my attention that this board could benefit from some changes to make our /vip/ experience better and overall more fun. Soon we will be drawing up a petition for Hiro and the moderators with a list of our ideas how to make this board better.
This thread is not the petition itself. In this thread we will propose ideas to include on the petition we're going to be sending the mods. In two weeks, we'll gather the best ideas, add them to the petition, and send it on to the moderators for their consideration.
I've come up with a few proposals already:
1. Allow sound webms
2. Add TeX formatting, like they have on /sci/ so we can have fancy text.
3. Increase the maximum file size to 11.11MB (because quads). This shouldn't put too much more burden on the servers since there are so few of us. After all, we keep this site running with our financial support. It stands to reason we should get a bit more bang for our buck.
4. Add the drawing tool from /i/ for those of us who'd like to doodle our replies.
5. Implement a feature that allows us to attach sound files to our posts (mp3/wav/ogg).
Feel free to add any other suggestions you may have in this thread. Any ridiculous suggestions will be left out of the final draft of the petition which will be posted in two weeks.
