The only type that should've been retconned is Dragon. All the stupid shit happening to balance, including adding Fairy, was attempts to "fix" it, none of which helped and only made the balance even worse.

Maybe not the most exciting thing in the world but a pretty cool idea I got recently is for a third part for the Sword/Shield expansion pass
>It's based on Northern Ireland
>It has 1 town and a Klara/Avery-like rival character
>In Pokémon Sword the town and rival are influenced by Ulster-Scot culture, in Pokémon Shield the town and rival are influenced by Irish culture
>The remaining Pokémon are added back to the game
>After some quests the new rival character and many characters from previous games like gym leaders enter the Galarian star tournament making it more like the tournaments from B2W2
>After completing a certain quest you can dive into underwater areas using scuba gear, even in the other 2 expansion pass areas and parts of the Galar mainland
>More clothes added
>Maybe even a minor graphics overhaul to the game?
This is about 50% things I'd personally like to see and 50% what I think would be generally good for everyone

I mean, if it works like BR, you'd have a very limited pool of Pokemon to use by default, any more than that you'd have to bring from another game through connectivity. I assumed that's what the anon meant by connecting it to Home, you have bring your mons from there to use, that you catch in the actual games.

Just about the only thing that would do it. I don't care about remakes, don't care about the pokemon themselves (there's too many, I stopped giving a fuck and so did they hence the cutting them out to re-sell later on), don't want an mmo, just a single player romp through every single region. It's absolutely feasible technically, they just have to rein in their retarded desired to shove in gimmicks.

They genuinely could not do worse than modern Game Freak -- GF was never an amazing developer who really kept up with getting the most of of hardware, but from Gen 6 on, it was really clear that they simply aren't skilled enough to handle modern game development with the effort that entails.

Translation: Pokemon's art-style is better because I grew up with it and I didn't bother to learn about anything else

Ken Sugimor's artstyle is pretty good and iconic, but to say Minoru Iwamoto's art is somehow not despite having a few notable credits of his own just shows how fucking up your own ass you are.

I find it funny how people who keep spouting the "soul" meme, and bitch and moan about a lack of originality usually have no fucking clue how character design works, or even take the time to actually study it.
