The team looks like it was made by a 10yo fanfic writer, yes, but that's not the worst part. They don't feel like a team, zero chemistry, zero screentime, almost zero interactions (just Sirfetchd and Dracovish kinda), and zero training scenes. When Lucario in the Raihan fight charges his giant Aura Sphere with the memories of all the time he spent with his teammates I had no other option but to laugh because these moments NEVER HAPPENED, the schizo dog made them up.

And that completely falls flat on its face because it happened in just ONE episode, and one of the late-game episodes at that too, and now we're supposed to believe that those two are super BFFs.
Doesn't help that it's followed and becomes a factor in one of the worst battles in all of shitneys if not the entire anime as a whole.
