>>57111764Probably just trying to figure out what they want to do with it too, China is a large country and created just Machuko/Tibet for instance as a region would be a fucking disaster. East Coast China would be fine but then you run into issues with Taiwan/Real China and Hong Kong potentially too if you're gonna go down that far.
It's just a mess of a region in general, it'd be like creating a Ukranian Region and then giving them Crimea or making that and Donbas exempt from being playable.
At least we know some of China's natural Pokemon, albeit more extinct, such as Growlithe which is considered legendary (but it could just be revered as a legend because of some ancient myth rather than endangered there), and the Ruins Lads in Paldea where once from there, so there might be more potentially or was in the distant past.
