>everything dies (impossible)Pokemon TCG is 30 years old and already had two major crashes, not really sure why you think it’s gonna be immune forever, especially when you didn’t address the lack of a nostalgia market for modern cards to drive up prices. Majority of Pokemon card buyers are late 20s to early 30s. You really think they are gonna stick with this well into their 50s-60s when they start having kids and an actual life beyond waking up at 5am to harass Target employees?
>>58957527>I have never seen this happenWhich tells us you are a zoomer and weren’t here for the first crash in the early 00s where the fad was fading and stores had boxes of the Gym Leader set for under MSRP that STILL wouldn’t sell because people hated the way WotC handled that set
All this miraculous base/jungle/fossil sealed that people are finding are from when card shops had it coming out of their ears due to overprinting and just tossed it into storage because they needed the floor space for shit that would actually sell.
>>58957643What does that have to do with anything I said? This is about retards hoarding sealed boxes of modern as if it’s gonna be worth 6 million dollars if they just wait a decade or two.
I’m not saying Pokemon cards are gonna collapse tomorrow, I’m saying retards playing the ultra long game are in for a rude awakening when they realize what makes vintage sets valuable won’t apply to modern
