Back when the games were first announced, they were also doing similar shit with the whole 'which game is canon?', 'which Professor is better?', and 'which school/uniform is better?' threads. They're all made to stir up shit and keep people arguing with each other, all for their own amusement.
The worst part of it all? Even after almost a solid year of the same shitposts, circular logic, and regurgitated arguments, people here STILL haven't figured it out yet and continue to jump right in and feed the trolls. I'd say the idiots here get what they deserve, but we're at a point now where I very rarely come back to this board because it's almost impossible to have a genuine discussion.
