Not everyone is a NEET/Corona'd/ect at the moment so coming back to a battle ready team without spending hours upon hours just for the right nature/EVs/egg moves/ect feels good. The result you'll get in the end are the same
unless you blatantly use .com with the same EVs, IVs, level 100, ect.
If Gamefreak cared about these things, they would put a stop pretty quickly to websites doing these and removed all Pokemon with the OTs of them...But since this is a game and getting your bros means PAYWALL with home, least they have the decency to allows this shit, or to not care at all
My only hope with the DLC tomorrow is to make things piss easier to get a level 100 because XL candies just won't do it anymore.
