How many times has this exact same thread happened? Basically comes down to people loving tiny little areas you walk around in so much, they're willing to throw away everything else that got remade simply because they decided to streamline that part, so you spend more time in the dungeons and less time preparing to dungeon. It is neither a good or a bad addition, just a choice, and if you want to walk around tiny cramped areas that take ages to load between for assembling your party, the original games still exist for you to enjoy instead.
