>>50211376The Spaceworld 97 leak was seen by some as fake at first, even though when people looked at the code, it showed no signs of being edited from a GS ROM, but people didn't believe it because of the fact that it showed up out of nowhere and the Nintendo+Micorsoft leak hadn't been made public knowledge yet, I personally believed it was real from the beginning but that's not relevant.
Then in late 2018 some old GF development journal from RGB was shown off in an official medium, I think it was some Pokenchi episode, I don't remmeber, but anyway it showed of some early Gen I designs of Lapras, Scyther, and Gyrados to name a few, and a never before seen Pokemon called Omega, seen on the bottom left and people went crazy, a few months pass in early 2019 Helix Chamber does a live stream of an early RGB ROM, and included in the ROM was Omega, and Gorochu, both of which were known to have existed at one point during RGB's development, but only Omega's front sprite had ever been seen. So as the livestream went on, it became that H.C. wasn't quite telling the truth about the legitimacy of the ROM, it turns out that their "Mysterious Donor" of the ROM only had a ROM with the backsprites of the Pokemon, not the front, either that, or the "Donor" was a gigantic niggerfaggot and had removed any trace of the front sprites from the files and the H.C. stream was asking for donations to see their fan-mande interpretations of the back sprites, which were made using the intact move and encounter data, so it wasn't totally off the walls retarded designs. But this was all discovered after the people in charge of the stream were playing coy about if it was legit or not, they would respond with "IDK *shurg* LOL!" so there was a shadow of doubt cast over the entire thing. 1/2
