They're a team of crime-stopping vigilante sentai heros who are sick of watching the police stand around twiddling their thumbs while 10-year-olds have to protect the region.
They hit all the marks for a typical bleeding heart hero, but they're also poorly-dressed unhealthy weirdos. They use gross, smelly, ugly, derpy Pokemon that no one else likes.
Even though they're eager to be heroes more often than not they just get in the way and cause an even bigger problem.
They dress in crummy superhero costumes with a vague color scheme referencing the Shrek characters
