Now we know NPC battles are optional so we have complete control over our EXP gains and that's supposed to be a bad thing? You never have to worry about being overleveled again. You can play through the entire game with a team of Lv.5s or 10s or 30s or whatever you want. It's the same way of intrinsically choosing easy mode or hard mode that Dark Souls does. This is probably the best thing GF has done in 10 years.

I'd rather hunt Zacian or Zamazenta. Roughly as dangerous as Xerneas, but with far fewer consequences for the fate of the world if you manage to down them.

Wouldn't by that logic Pearl make much more sense since Palkia controls space and that would actually mean it could create a new universe for team galactic rather than the time controlling Dialga?
I prefer X because Xerneas reminds me of the forest spirit from Princess Mononoke.

1st third is great but they had to shoe horn that furry trainer and marshadow. I wasn't even bothered by the new Sinnoh partners considering Ash was an original character himself and not Red if anything it makes more sense and gives more depth to the Pokemon world in the new cinematic series. I didn't expect a 1:1 adaptation from show to film but it is clear that as always the writers had original ideas and in mid preproduction they were given all of the Sun and Moon product placement and had to fit it it desperately in the script because if you notice they kinda rip off the last third of Princess Mononoke and 4Ever mixing them in an awkward way. The real world part was an original idea and I'm not mad but Ash not fighting and catching Ho-oh was bullshit.
