>>42505916Gen 3 had all the pokemon anyway though. Gen 8 doesn't. Not to mention Gen 3 had a reasom to not have transferring since Game Boy Advance and Game Boy/Game Boy Color games couldn't connect. Gen 8 has no excuse. The 3DS games are perfectly capable of connecting to the Switch games especially since Home is probably going to connect to Bank. This time Game Freak was lazy whereas before they were restricted. You could still catch all the gen 1 and 2 mons with all the Gen 3 games as well or if you didn't want to buy all the games you could just Gameshark them. You can't do that in gen 8 because they don't fucking exist.
