I can guarantee you that like 90% of users on AO3 (biggest current fanfic website) are female. But if she was ready to share that information with you, she must trust you. Dunno if you read any of the stuff she wrote, but you'd make her happy if you did I think.Also Pokemon GO is great to play together even for total (Pokémon) casuals. If she doesn't play it yet, you could try to get her into it. It's a nice way to easy someone into getting into Pokémon too if you intend to do that.
