Since PO had Gen 6 implemented, I've been having fun almost exclusively with TR. Let me share some new stuff that I found to be good:
Trevenant (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Wood Hammer
- Phantom Force
- Power-Up Punch
Not sure yet if Phantom Force is better than Shadow Claw, since it wastes a turn of TR. Otherwise, a good TRer with unique typing, 120 BP STAB and a move to raise its attack against weakened opponents.
Carbink @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Rest
Love this guy. Craps on dragones and talonflames and doesn't afraid of anything. And then does it again.
But the best addition to TR is here. Get ready:
Malamar (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Superpower
- Psycho Cut
- Night Slash
You have to try him to understand how good he is. Only two rare weaknesses, and a unique ability to boost its stats and attack at the same time. It also shits on Aegislash attempts to block it.
Also, I've read here that Prankster gets priority on TR this gen. Can anyone confirm?
