I think at this point I have to come to the conclusion I am not a very conservative trainer. Though, to be fair, I've had to deal with bullshit I think we all have to.
While exploring Chargestone Cave I fought in a rotation battle and a Stoutland managed to kill my Ampharos with a critical hit takedown. Up until that point, it had had been with me the 2nd longest. Then, on the route between Mistralton and Celestial Tower I fought another rotation battle, which also had a Stoutland. In that battle, Servine managed to hit 36, but before it could end the battle and evolve, like the ampharos, the Stoutland defeated it with a crit takedown.
Finally to end this current round of pain, I had caught a litwick and was close to evolving it in to a Lampent, however I entered a wild double battle against twoGrumpigs. Unfortunately for me, they both knew power gem and they both aimed that same move towards the litwick.
At the moment I am now preparing to enter the spooky house, and then traverse Reversal Mountain, which I honestly don't feel confident about.
