Although the supposed Fossilized Fish does look like a fish, upon closer inspection it's actually a Stegosaur tail curled around with the thagomizer bottom center. The Fossilized Drake sprite being a Dunkleosteus skull gives away that it's supposed to be the Fish sprite, meaning that the Drake
sprite.is supposed to be the Stegosaur. I'm guessing what happened is the guy who designed the sprites and the guy who actually put them in the game were two different people with the guy seeing the shrimp-like Stegosaur tail, assuming it was a fish and using it, not realizing that the Drake sprite was meant to be a Dunkleosteus skull of the Fish.[/spoiler:lit]
