Lickitung was a blast, easily my favourite member of the team. He kept getting exploded on so I didn't want to give him Return, so I opted to give me all the coverage moves and use his bulk + Rest. Ice Punch + nevermelt with his HP pool let me beat down on Claire until I got to the Seadra. It was a blur, but I feel he swept much of Koga as well. Just a big fan of the design.
Shuckle was less spectacular. It was hard to raise him up (though his gimmick doesn't really expand with levels) and he only really got good after I gave him Sludge Bomb. Since Dragon's generally ignore his high DEF and SDEF he was useless for Claire outside of tanking some hits and setting status. Bu the E4 he got Rest at 37(?) with Withdrawl allowed a lot more livability. He actually 1v1'd a Dragonite with Poison stall during one of my attempts, might have been the winning one.
Really, I only beat Lance by a few lucky Hyper misses, knowing when I could get a free SD in, and our boy Lickitung standing fucking triumphant at the very end.
