Lying down in one of the pokemon center’s beds, your Ninetails slurps up the herbal soup disgustedly, recoiling at the bitter taste. He pushes away the soup dejectedly, defiant at the thought of taking another taste. “No, Ninetails, you have the drink your soup so you can get better,” you tell your Ninetails. With your encouragement, Ninetails tries the hot liquid again, and winces at the awful flavor. Irritated, the fox gives you a look of grimace as you continue to put the soup up to his maw. He refuses to eat, so I guess you’re going to have to force feed him. You vigilantly fill up a spoon with the brown concoction and force it into Ninetails’s mouth. Ninetails shifts from abrasiveness to shock with the metal intrusion. You stare Ninetails in the eye, as if giving him instruction to swallow. He stares back, and then spits the herbal remedy into your face. “Aw, yuck!” you cry at the salty drops on your lips. Ninetails holds back a giggle as you wipe the spray from your face.
