But you will need to spend significant effort levelling it up- logging in daily and doing all the missions for the duration of the season, otherwise you will need to spend more money to complete the pass.
- Premium membership gives you a flat 40 gems per day for 30 days. 1200 gems for around $15. Definitely economical if you want gems. However the only thing worthwhile spending gems on is holowear. The most expensive holowear is 2150 gems for 1 pokemon costume.
Also do not spend gems on licenses. Buying all the pokemon licenses gets expensive quickly and you might not even end up using them. Not to mention that you could always get them for free by playing long enough.
-Finally, there are other options for gathering resources. Gems are heavily discounted when anniversary event rolls around. Also consider abusing returning player bonuses. If you don't log in to the game for 14 days you get a bunch of missions which net you a total of 10k choice or a unite license of your choice. Gems are also discounted for returning players and the bonus resets after 31 days after you lose the returning player status. By far the most ideal way of grinding.
