This is from some time ago. When I was trying to hunt a special Trophy Garden Pokémon via Radar in Platinum, it appeared so many Roselia breaking my chaims or just nonstop appearing before I find the Pokémon I need to chain for, that I got mad like "fine, if you boutta annoy me I'll hunt the hell out of you" and I instead Radar hunted for Roselia that very moment. Deadass got a shiny first try lol.

Not in the slightest. I do not care if injecting is quicker and easier, I will always have more respect for the shinies gotten legitimately. A shiny is, after all, both a gift made by the game or another player, as well as a trophy for your work in case you hunted for it. For me at least, an injected shiny is no more worthy than a level 1 Magikarp, plain and simple.
